
Dr. Anna Flynn has attained the highest level of certification possible in her field in two distinct areas. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both child & adolescent, and in adult psychiatry. This allows her to serve patients across their lifespan and throughout important developmental transitions. She has served on the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin and as the director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Services for the Sinai Samaritan Medical Center and Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Her psychiatric residency training was under the tutelage of one of the top psychiatric teams in the United States at the University of Wisconsin Medical Center in Madison, WI. She has also received academic honors and the Resident of the Year Award during her academic career.
Dr. Flynn enjoys working with children, teens, adults and their families. Her treatment plan is comprehensive and holistic: she considers developmental, biological, psychological and social factors when formulating a treatment plan. Dr. Flynn collaborates with parents, teachers, mental health professionals and other physicians to ensure a high quality of care and the best outcomes for patients. Anxiety disorders, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder are her special areas of interest.
As a former violinist, opera singer, and music therapy major, Dr. Flynn has an affinity with and special interest in working with artists, and their specific needs.
